Floor Tile Crack & Impact Repair
These repairs involved two different types of tile damage in residential properties across Dubai. The first was a hairline crack running diagonally across a large format porcelain floor tile caused by substrate movement. The second was a severe impact hole on a textured floor tile where a heavy object had caused significant damage, exposing the substrate beneath. Both were repaired on-site in single visits without removing or replacing any tiles.
The Damage
First repair, a hairline crack running diagonally across a large format white porcelain floor tile, crossing into the grout joint. Second repair, a large impact hole approximately 10cm wide in the centre of a textured grey floor tile, with cracks radiating outward and the substrate fully exposed.
The Repair
Both repairs were completed using specialist tile repair compound, hand finished to match the existing surface texture and grain, and colour matched precisely to the surrounding tiles. The results are completely invisible. Both jobs were completed in single on-site visits with no tile removal or replacement needed.
