Marble Worktop Corner Chip & Crack Repair
These repairs involved two marble kitchen worktops with different types of corner damage. The first had a deep chip on the front corner edge where the marble meets the cabinet fascia below. The second had a crack running along the corner joint affecting both the top surface and the front edge panel. Both were repaired on-site in single visits without removing or replacing any marble.
The Damage
First repair, a deep chip on the front corner edge of a marble worktop exposing the substrate beneath at the junction with the cabinet. Second repair, a crack running diagonally along the corner joint of a marble worktop, affecting both the top surface and front panel and beginning to widen over time.
The Repair
Both repairs were carried out using specialist marble repair compound, colour matched precisely to the surrounding cream marble tone and polished to a sharp clean finish. Both results are completely invisible and were completed in single on-site visits with no worktop removal or replacement needed.
